Walking Trails

The city of Allen boasts a large park system with paved walking trails and paths. Some trails wander through natural areas and parks while others follow nearby creeks and wrap around major roadways.

The 104-acre Celebration Park is Allen’s community park. It’s home to an enormous playground and playground that attract kids and their parents. The park also features a pavilion, soccer, baseball, and tennis courts, and hiking trails for outdoor enthusiasts.

The park has a 0.3-mile loop trail that is rated easy for all abilities. It’s a great way to enjoy the lush surroundings and hear the soothing sounds of Watters Branch Creek that runs through the park.

Sprayground

It is also the location of one of the largest parks for the physically challenged and an enormous playground that kids love to cool off in during Texas’ blazing summers.

The park has a large playground for little ones, picnic areas, and covered pavilions that overlook ponds. It is clean and safe with no violent music playing or shady people hanging around.

KidMania Playground

This is a huge playground with sections that are color-coded according to the level of difficulty so kids of all abilities can enjoy the play structure. It is one of the largest community-built accessible playgrounds in Texas and it is great for toddlers too.

The park has a large open field area where people can picnic, barbecue, or simply relax with their families. It also has baseball/softball fields, basketball courts, and lighted tennis courts.

This is a fun place to take the little ones for healthy snack options and a variety of activities such as an indoor climbing playground, foam pits, basketball dunking, and dodgeball. There is also a ninja course and a crayon factory show. This is perfect for a rainy day or when it’s just too hot outside.

Baseball/Softball Fields

Whether you want to play a game of tennis, baseball, or golf, you can do it all at Celebration Park in Allen TX. This large park has tons of sports fields and courts as well as a playground, splash pad, and walking trails.
